All small businesses have one common goal- to grow. It’s the focus of every executive, manager, and employee. applya is no exception. July 22nd -26th applya held its annual conference that typically focuses on team collaboration and training, but this year added a few celebrations of meeting, not one but several growth spurts. The last 12 months have been challenging as the team “climbed the mountain” through a total company rebrand and name change, relocation to a new office, adding new team members, successfully campaigning and raising capital while continuing to add new clients and support existing.
As quoted above, climbing the mountain can lead to rich rewards, but the journey can be difficult. The discomfort of change, the shifting of leadership, can make or break a company. applya used this time to challenge its leaders to rise, humble executives to change their tactics, and not just work as a team, but come together as a family.
This week’s highlights included a review of our past, celebrated accomplishments, and most important, refreshing for the climb to come because we know one day sitting on that mountain together will be all the reward of which one can dream.
